I’m looking for a skilled freelance video editor to help bring my fitness content to life.
I create the raw videos (training clips, talking-head reels, tips, etc.) and need someone who can edit them into engaging, platform-ready posts for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
Payment
- Per-project basis (rate to be discussed based on project complexity).
- Ongoing work available as the brand grows — starting with a few videos per week.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing social-media-focused videos (portfolio required).
- Familiar with editing styles that work for fitness, health, and motivational content.
- Knowledge of trends, captions, and hooks for Reels/TikTok.
- Proficiency with common editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
- Reliable and responsive communicator.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form content (typically 15–60 seconds) from raw footage I provide.
- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, and trending audio when relevant.
- Enhance video pacing, hooks, and storytelling to maximize watch-time and engagement.
- Format and export videos for social media platforms (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Occasionally repurpose longer clips (e.g., workouts, coaching clips) into short-form videos.
- Communicate clearly on deadlines and feedback.
