Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, commission payments, vendor relations, and more. You’ll work closely with the Controller, Senior AP Specialist, and Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities not limited to:

• Review, process, input, and post supplier invoices into the ERP system
• Process commission payments
• Review Aging Reports; propose payment schedules and adjustments
• Prepare and record accounts payable disbursements
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile accounts
• Research and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts
• Collaborate with Supply Chain/Purchasing to resolve PO receiving and pricing issues
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Assist with Month-End and Year-End close activities, including reports and 1099s
• Support audit requests and assist with adhoc projects
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, reporting, and mailing

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor/Kinetic a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and principles
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures
• 1-2 years' experience in accounts payable
