Front Office Representative-NTP Marseilles

Basic Job Functions: Nucor Tubular Products-Marseilles is seeking candidates for the position of Front Office Representative. The successful candidate will develop strong and trusting relationships with internal and external customers and will be the point of contact at the Marseilles business and production offices for all administrative tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answer and properly route phone calls for multiple locations; assist with purchasing activities, including travel management; assist the HR department with organization and execution of teammate events, prepare communication pieces for multiple locations and basic HR functions to support the HR team; handle incoming and outgoing mail; properly administrate visitors access; manage location meetings and activities; and other duties as assigned. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a business office Experience managing multiple phone line switchboard and handling incoming calls across multiple locations, states, and time zones Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in HR, A/P or Purchasing activities Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Abilty to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Medical and dental are just the beginning.
