ROLE SUMMARY

The team at Chicago Real Estate Photography is looking for a talented Creative Specialist experienced in photography, videography, and drone operation (or eager to learn). To be considered for this position we'd prefer you to have 1+ years of experience. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, strong customer service skills, and a growth mindset. This role requires pride in craftsmanship, coachability, and the ability to deliver a premium, 7-star client experience on every shoot.

WHO IS CHICAGO REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY?

Chicago Real Estate Photography specializes in high-impact real estate marketing that helps agents sell listings faster and stand out in an increasingly competitive market. From stunning HDR photography and cinematic listing videos to social media reels, property websites, 3D tours, drone media, and twilight photography, we provide everything agents need to showcase homes at their absolute best.

We also support agents with in-studio personal branding content at our Carol Stream, IL studio , helping them stay top-of-mind with their audience. Everything we do is focused on delivering results that make our clients memorable and their listings impossible to ignore — all while providing a true 7-star experience from start to finish.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete on-site photo, video, drone, 3D, and floor plan services
• Upload all footage by 9:00 PM on shoot days
• Communicate all applicable field notes to internal team members
• Complete daily Project Prep by 9:30 PM
• Confirm schedule with the Creative Lead before 9:00 AM
• Identify the best creative solutions while completing services
• Travel to and from shoots in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate vision and expectations with clients on-site and remotely
• Prepare, maintain, and manage company equipment
• Maintain accurate scheduling and calendar records
• Oversee listing solutions from start to finish
• Maintain responsive and consistent communication across departments
• Operate effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Offer in-field upgrade consultations when applicable
• Participate in training and ongoing development

• Photography experience (1+ year preferred, not required)
• Videography and drone experience are a plus — willingness to learn is required
• Valid Part 107 drone certification or ability to obtain within 4 weeks

WORK HOURS & EARNING POTENTIAL

• $27–$32 per hour , based on experience
• 30–40 hours per week
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Evening and weekend availability required as needed
• Bi-weekly gas reimbursement provided

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing for extended periods
• Driving between job sites
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Operating camera and electronic equipment
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements
• High attention to accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness
