Production Assembler

Job Description:

A manufacturing company located in Rock Island, IL is looking to hire assemblers! Candidates will be assembling together packaging containers for shipping purposes, working with wooden and recycled materials.

Responsibilities:

• General Assembly & Production of wooden containers, crates, and platforms.
• Will require regular use of hand/power tools, nail gun, saws, and measuring tape
• Will start in general assembly and can work into other areas such as custom assembly and even machine operating

Skills & Qualifications:

• Candidates will be on their feet for an entire shift and may need to lift up to 75 lbs at times.
• At least 6 months of more of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial setting
• Must be mechanically inclined enough to operate standard hand/power tools
• Must be open to working overtime and if needed, Saturday's.

Additional Information:

• 1st shift / 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday + Saturday's when required (uncommon) and overtime.
• $17/hr to start with a $1 raise after 30 days
• WEEKLY PAY + FULL BENEFITS (MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
