Local Dry Van Company Driver (W2) - Bloomington, IL

Become a vital member of Lakeshore Beverage LLC as a Local Dry Van Company Driver. This role focuses on spot sales, timely deliveries, and effective merchandising across various routes on a fill-in basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow company policies to ensure safe and timely deliveries while maximizing sales and minimizing returns.
• Conduct daily Pre-Tip inspections of your assigned vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain a clean driving record as per company and DOT standards.
• Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations throughout your driving duties.
• Implement approved delivery processes, while identifying and seizing spot sales opportunities.
• Ensure product freshness and manage product movement as needed.
• Engage in “work with” and “ride with” days alongside the Delivery Manager and Delivery Team Leader for ongoing training and mentorship opportunities in the field.
• Maintain a work pace that allows for completion of deliveries within a 12-hour timeframe, in line with DOT regulations.

Safety Considerations: This position is safety-sensitive due to its physical demands and the need for continuous alertness in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma/GED
• Must have a driving record acceptable to the Company
• Class A CDL required
• DOT certificate up-to-date
• Ability to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 165lbs
