Position Summary

As a Line Cook at Moneygun , you’ll play an essential role in executing high-quality, consistent dishes while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. You’ll work closely with the restaurant team, Central Kitchen, and management to ensure seamless communication and operations.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Serve as a communication bridge between the kitchen, restaurant team, and Central Kitchen
• Participate in preparing, cooking, and plating food to meet quality and consistency standards
• Maintain strong working rapport with FOH/BOH staff for smooth service
• Ensure daily checks of line, cooler, and dry storage to maintain rotation and freshness
• Monitor production flow and quality, making improvements where needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow opening and closing procedures as directed
• Track and order inventory of prepped items from the Central Kitchen with appropriate lead time
• Maintain equipment and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with state health regulations

About You: 

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience with strong knife skills and an understanding of techniques, recipes, and terminology
• Valid Food Handler Certification required
• Ability to follow procedures and execute dishes with accuracy and consistency
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and common allergens.

• Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
• Compensation: $20 per hour
