Purchasing Manager

Description

DASMEN Residential is seeking a Full Time Purchasing Manager located in HQ.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities across multiple properties within the portfolio. This includes sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, supplies, and services necessary for property operations, maintenance, renovations, and capital projects. 

  Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals and budget requirements.
  
  
• Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers, obtain competitive quotes, and negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  
  
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and resolve issues efficiently.
  
  
• Monitor and track purchases, deliveries, and inventory across all properties to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with budgetary goals.
  
  
• Collaborate with Property Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and Area Managers to identify procurement needs and forecast demand.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, inventory, and other relevant data for auditing and reporting purposes.
  
  
• Review and analyze purchase orders and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  
  
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements across the procurement process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Officer, or similar role—preferably in property management, real estate, or construction.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of purchasing best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  
  
• Familiarity with property management operations and maintenance supply needs.
  
  
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
