About the Role
MedOp Solutions is partnering with a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center in Downers Grove, Illinois to hire a CT Technologist for a contract assignment.
This role is based in a high-performing imaging department within a nationally accredited facility, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations. The CT Technologist will perform a wide range of routine CT procedures and portable exams, working both independently and collaboratively in a well-supported environment.

- ACR Accredited (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine)
Unit Information
- Specialty: CT Imaging
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year accepted (2+ years preferred)
- First-Time Travelers: Considered upon review
- Volume: Approximately 10–12 exams per 8-hour shift
- Floating: None
Patient Types
- Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- General CT and trauma imaging populations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT imaging procedures including:
- Chest
- Abdomen/Pelvis
- Pulmonary Embolism (PE) studies
- Brain and head imaging
- Perform portable CT exams in the emergency department and inpatient units
- Operate CT equipment and ensure high-quality imaging
- Work independently and alongside other CT technologists and ancillary staff
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation safety standards
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in EPIC
- Maintain workflow efficiency in a moderate-volume environment
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited CT program
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- IEMA license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
- Ability to perform routine CT procedures independently
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC EMR experience
- Experience in a hospital or trauma setting
Support on the Unit
- Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
- Hospitalist coverage 24/7
- Collaborative CT technologist team and ancillary staff

Orientation
- General onboarding (badge and system access)
- 24–40 hours of unit orientation
Scheduling & Expectations
- Shift details to be confirmed
- No weekend rotation
- No on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage varies
- Time off requests to be approved by Lead CT Technologist and Manager

- Scrub Color: Any professional color (Caribbean Blue preferred for department)

- Requirement: Must sign in/out of agency binder in nursing office each shift
