Emotional Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emotional Caregiver to provide support and care for our client, who is a mother in need of emotional support and companionship. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emotional care and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide emotional support and companionship to our client, who is a mother in need of care and attention

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for our client to express their emotions and feelings

- Build a strong rapport with our client and establish a trusting relationship

- Assist with daily tasks and activities as needed, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands

- Be a listening ear and offer guidance and advice when needed

- Monitor and report any changes in our client's emotional well-being to the family or healthcare team

- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create a care plan that meets our client's emotional needs

- Provide respite care for family members, if needed

- Maintain confidentiality and respect our client's privacy at all times

- Attend trainings and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in emotional care

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in emotional care or a related field is preferred

- Strong understanding of emotional care and its importance in overall well-being

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate, patient, and understanding

- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations

- Reliable, punctual, and organized

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in basic computer skills

- Must pass a background check and drug screening
