Commercial Roofing Warehouse Coordinator

Seeking an organized commercial roofing warehouse coordinator that is comfortable with computers and enjoys visiting construction job sites. Purpose: Responsible for coordinating all activities within a warehouse from maintaining equipment and inventory to handling project requests and deliveries. This position will report directly to the Production Manager based out of Villa Park, IL. Benefits Include: Full Time, Salaried position, year-round work Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Accident and Disability Insurance Life Insurance Holiday and Vacation 401(K) with employer match Responsibilities: Keep track of warehouse supply inventory, equipment, and delivery Receive and store materials in proper locations Accurately monitor and assess inventory levels, adjusting storage areas where applicable Preform or schedule small engine repairs and equipment maintenance. Document actions completed and update records Work closely with operations team and field crews regarding upcoming project needs Coordinate and deliver project material and equipment Proactively inspecting and improving practices to eliminate safety risks and injuries and enforce standards Requirements Able to read and follow precise instructions Knowledge of hand tools and uses (small engine repair experience highly preferred) Able to pick up and lift heavy objects Ability for day travel, occasional overnight as needed Forklift experience Experience pulling a travel trailer Communicates effectively internally and externally Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Stable work history
