Cnc Operator

As a CNC Operator, you will be tasked with running multiple CNC Milling machines, specifically Doosan, Kia, and other advanced models. You will be required to read blueprints and check parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers. Your focus will be on drilling, tapping, boring, and turning, while managing two machines simultaneously.

• Operate multiple CNC Milling machines efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Check parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Perform drilling, tapping, boring, and turning operations.
• Load, unload, sand, and deburr components.
• Make tool adjustments as needed for continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in CNC Mill or Lathe operation.
• Ability to use micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
• Competency in reading blueprints.
• Experience in machining processes.

• Familiarity with advanced CNC machinery such as Doosan and Kia.
• Ability to work efficiently in a climate-controlled environment.
• Flexibility to work on a 2nd shift schedule with a shift premium.

Work in a well-lit, organized, and climate-controlled facility. The main building hosts 24 employees on day shift and 18 on the 2nd shift, while the West building has 17-18 employees on days and 4 on the 2nd shift. The position is on the 2nd shift from 2:30pm - 11:00pm with a 5% shift premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rockford,IL.
