Office assistant

Part Time and Full Time Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional individual to join our team. This position will provide support to the Administration Department and will work closely with residents and clients. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping the public as well as maintaining an efficient office environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· General office support: telephone, appointments, correspondence, data entry

· Assists Outreach Program donors with selections/drop-offs

· Notarizing documents, processing applications, FOIA requests, and Voter Registration

· Prepares draft annual holiday and meeting schedule

· Maintains donor and recipient master list including donated amounts (check register)

· Prepares and submits statistics for monthly Board Reports and for Township Newsletter

· Maintains Gift Card log at direction of Administrator

· Township Cemeteries: coordinates all facets of burials for Township cemeteries and maintains cemetery records and files

· Website postings as directed

Requirements:

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Knowledge of modern office procedures, methods and business communication

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and the Internet is required

· Excellent customer service and organizational skills and ability to multi-task

· Random drug test, background check

· Special consideration will be given to multilingual candidates

· Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time

Salary:

• From $19 Commensurate with experience
