Senior IT Procurement Manager

Our client, a global consumer products company headquartered in the western suburbs of Chicago, is growing exponentially. Because of this growth, they are adding new talent to their Procurement department. They are looking to hire a Senior IT Procurement Manager in to help with contract management, supplier operations management, project management, and purchasing.

Senior IT Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Act as the procurement and contract management expert for assigned product categories, specifically software, hardware, and IT-related services
• Oversee a team of 3 buyers and over $500M in global IT spend annually
• Manage the negotiation of vendor terms and conditions and associated maintenance and support for agreements
• Coordinate and lead planning continuous improvements initiatives, as well as project management
• Meet regularly with the business to ensure needs are met in a timely and accurate fashion

Senior IT Procurement Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related field
• ERP experience required, SAP strongly preferred
