Key Responsibilities:
• Create and promote a safe working environment in all departments.
• Manage all ordering and planning of commercial products in designated area.
• Manage scheduling or production in designated production area
• Monitor all daily issues of production area.
• Support applicable equipment and personnel to optimize efficiency responsiveness
and deliverability
• Monitoring of daily production, ensuring that all operations are completed per
procedures for products meets all required quality standards
• Play key role in overall plant yield improvement program – including work with
quality and production.
• Sourcing Management (Supplier selection for new product, total cost, quality and
timing)
• Collaboration with maintenance and engineering to ensure all critical equipment is
properly serviced and maintained to optimize efficiency
• Ensure accurate accounting and control of inventory levels in areas of responsibility.
• Key role in SIOP process including but not limited to capacity planning (materials
and resources) to meet given demand plan
• Key role in utilization of work order management team
• Any other tasks as assigned by management
Main Interactions:
Operations and Management
Daily, constant interaction with Shipping & Receiving, Operations Team, and Management.
With the purpose to create ability to do job in an efficient manner.
Commercial Team/Sales
Variable, minimally weekly in SIOP support. With the purpose of collaborate to ensure a
balance of demand requirements to supply constraints
Vendor

Often. With the purpose of to coordinate purchase of material
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
• This individual must possess excellent communication skills with all levels and
functional areas of the business.
• Must be able to work in a self-directed capacity and coordinate work effort all
employees and coworkers.
• Computer literate using MS Office programs with high level of Excel Power BI is a
plus. This position uses databases for controlling the data and documentation (JDE)
• Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP systems ex: JDE, SAP, Other. JD Edward experience
preferred.
• Good organization and time management skills required.
Qualifications:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management is minimum, or equivalent
work-related experience.
• Supply chain knowledge: Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory control and Scheduling
• 5 years of work experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing setting.
• Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must be familiar with total quality and continuous improvement methods, including
work order management within a manufacturing environment.

Education Required: Some college or better.
Experience Required: Supply chain knowledge, Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory control and Scheduling 2 years of work experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing setting. Supervisory
experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus. Must be familiar with total quality
and continuous improvement methods, including work order management within a
manufacturing environment.
