Auto Mechanic (B-Level)

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must.

Are you a car whisperer who loves getting vehicles road-ready? Do you take pride in diagnosing and fixing cars like a pro? If so, DriveWhip wants YOU on our team as an Auto Repair Rockstar!

As a Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert keeping our rideshare fleet in peak condition. From routine maintenance to tricky repairs, you’ll make sure our drivers stay on the road, making money, and providing top-tier service.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose & Repair: Keep our fleet running smoothly by tackling mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues.

Preventative Maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs—you name it, you handle it!

Fleet Optimization: Work with our team to keep vehicles in top shape and ready to roll.

Tech-Savvy Fixes: Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and keep repairs efficient.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside our service and operations team to ensure fast, reliable vehicle turnaround.

What We’re Looking For

✅ A mechanic guru with hands-on experience in auto repairs and diagnostics. ✅ B-Level or Higher (Required) ✅ Someone who knows their way around engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more. ✅ A problem-solver who can think on their feet and tackle challenges head-on. ✅ A team player who works f ast, smart, and with a great attitude. ✅ A valid driver’s license (because test drives are part of the fun!).
