Step into a production role that keeps the foundry industry moving. HA International (a Hüttenes Albertus company) manufactures resin‑coated sand products used by foundries around the world. At our Oregon, Illinois plant, you will package finished materials with precision, support upstream production, and help ensure every shipment meets the high bar our customers expect.

A day in the life

You arrive to a clean, organized packaging area, review your orders, and perform a quick safety check. You use a lift truck to stage finished product and set up super sacks (up to 4,000 lbs) for filling. Labels are verified, weights are confirmed, and each palletized order is documented in detail. Between runs, you keep the workspace spotless and safe, then jump in with the team to stage raw materials, pull samples for quality testing, and assist Process and Mixer Operators. If needed, you step in to substitute for a Process Operator. Before shift end, equipment is washed down using power washing tools and records are finalized so every shipment leaves on spec.

Core responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks to move finished product to packaging stations safely and efficiently
• Set up, fill, and seal super sacks (up to 4,000 lbs) per customer requirements
• Label, package, and palletize with care and accuracy; maintain detailed packing and shipment records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Support Process and Mixer Operators by staging materials, sampling products, and performing basic quality checks
• Substitute for Process Operators as needed
• Clean and wash equipment and machinery using power washing tools
• Complete a comprehensive 6‑month training program that prepares you for advancement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Dependability and the ability to work with limited supervision (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in packaging, machine operation, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and teamwork
• Positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment
• Forklift experience a plus; training provided
