Facilities Manager
This role ensures that buildings and grounds are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations while supporting a productive work environment. The position involves managing maintenance, vendors, budgets, and improvement projects across multiple sites in coordination with the Maintenance Project Manager.
Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager
- Oversee facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities across all company locations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related matters.
- Manage service contracts, vendors, and internal maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Supervise facility staff and external service providers.
- Monitor budgets and control operating costs.
- Lead space planning, renovations, and workplace improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Project Manager on ongoing projects and report weekly to leadership.
- Respond to urgent facility needs and support special initiatives.
Requirements of the Facilities Manager
- 5–10 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing contractor projects.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, automation technologies, and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with standard PC applications and inventory management software.
- Ability to work across multiple sites and under pressure.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $80,000 - $85,000 annually, willing to pay more based on experience
