Component Development Technician
Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Component Development Technician/Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Mossville, IL! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, start, and monitor additive manufacturing builds across multiple technologies. (e.g., SLS, LPBF, FDM, SLA, and DLS)
- Post process/finish parts and perform visual inspections against drawings/routers; identify common defects and document findings
- Package parts per site standards; protect, label, and hand off to shipping.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and escalate as needed.
- Maintain 5S; manage materials with correct labeling and storage.
- Communicate status/risks early; collaborate with engineers on root cause & prevention.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma AND 3+ years of any work experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Technician experience
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Stand/sit for extended periods; perform repetitive operations.
- Lift up to 35 lbs.
- Close visual acuity for small parts/defects.

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Manufacturing or additive experience (professional or maker/hobbyist).
- Finishing/body work.
- Post‑processing/assembly
- Familiar with Microsoft office suite
- Any experience with assembly or finishing
