Restaurant Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is actively seeking a skilled Restaurant Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager to join our team in Chicago. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences in the vibrant restaurant industry.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and quality. You will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging environment for both guests and staff while leading initiatives that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, alongside a dynamic workplace culture focused on growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships efficiently.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
- Analyze financial performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to streamline workflows and enhance menu offerings.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives to attract and retain clientele.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial reporting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
