Job Description

Join our dynamic Distribution Center as a Forklift Driver. You will play a crucial role in efficiently loading and unloading trucks and performing quality control on orders. The available shift is:

• Monday through Thursday: 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm and Friday from 11am-7:30pm

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift for approximately 90% of the day to load and unload trucks.
• Perform quality control checks on orders.
• Receive products and organize them in the warehouse.
• Consolidate pallets to optimize space and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• 2-5 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift, regardless of whether it is electric or gas.
• Experience with printing shipping labels using UPS, FedEx, or similar software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a modern facility in North Chicago. The work environment includes brand new equipment and candidates will be transporting sealed drums, not handling chemicals directly.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
