Bunker is a neighborhood bar in the Near West Side with great drinks, a big patio, and a steady flow of locals who like to keep it casual. Whether it’s sports on TV or a low-key chef pop-up, the vibe is always friendly and familiar. We’ve got a tight team, a great outdoor setup, and we’re looking for someone who brings personality to every shift—and wants to grow with us.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for someone who thrives in guest-facing roles—running food, checking in on tables, helping out behind the bar when needed, and keeping the patio moving. You’ll be on the floor, behind the bar (eventually), and always tuned into the energy of the space.

This role is perfect for someone who loves service, wants to grow their skills behind the bar, and isn’t afraid to jump into whatever needs doing that day. We’ll teach you the drinks if you bring the attitude.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Run food and drinks to tables, check in with guests, and keep the vibe upbeat
• Help with setup and breakdown of patio bar service
• Support bartenders with restocking, ice, glassware, prep, etc.
• Learn cocktail basics and bar service on the job
• Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked
• Jump into side work and help wherever needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a guest-facing role (serving, running, hosting, etc.) preferred
• Genuinely friendly and great with people—personality is everything here
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and a team player
• Comfortable working on your feet for long shifts
• Must be 21+ with BASSET and Food Handler certification (or willing to obtain)
• Curious about bartending and eager to learn
