Dispatch Support Coordinator

Description Robert Half is partnering with a long-standing, family-oriented organization to hire a Dispatch Support Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a blend of administrative work, customer interaction, and supporting the daily flow of operations. About the Role In this position, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly by supporting dispatch activities and completing a variety of administrative and office responsibilities. You'll assist with driver scheduling while ensuring accurate, timely information is routed where it needs to go. What You'll Do - Enter ticket and scale information into internal systems for the Accounting team - Assist walk-in customers who bring payout tickets for materials - Monitor trucks on the scale and ensure weight data transfers correctly into the system - Answer incoming calls and provide professional, timely support - Process paperwork for inbound and outbound loads - Prepare and distribute driver work orders - File trucking, dispatch, and scale logs - Support driver scheduling during busy periods - Handle occasional cash transactions for customer payouts - Maintain strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the day Why You'll Love Working Here This is a stable, well-established organization that is deeply connected to the community.
