CDL A Driver - USPS Government Mail Loads
We’re hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for an over-the-road dry van position hauling mostly USPS Government Mail across the Midwest, South, and Southeast.
Pay Structure:Solo drivers earn a $1,800 flat rate for up to 3,000 miles, with $0.60 CPM paid on every mile over. Team drivers earn a $1,800 flat rate covering up to 5,500 miles, plus $0.70 CPM for additional miles. No matter the mileage for the week, the $1,800 flat rate is guaranteed. Most solo drivers average 3,000–3,200 miles per wee k, while teams typically run 5,000–6,000 miles.
The pay week runs Monday through Sunday, with payday on Friday. This is a 1099 position , with no escrow, and bonuses are paid for clean inspections. Drivers operate 2022 and newer Freightliner and Volvo trucks, governed at 70 MPH and equipped with a fridge, microwave, and inverter. Home Time: Drivers stay out a minimum of 4 weeks, followed by 7 full days at home. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of CDL-A experience.
