Gage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a fun and passionate Server to join The Dawson which is the gathering place in River West. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant's high productivity, quality, and customer service standards are maintained.

Server Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Floor Manager
  • Attend pre-shift to review menu and daily specials
  • Provide a pleasant dining experience to customers
  • Ring all food and beverage items with 100% accuracy to ensure proper flow of service
  • Properly handle all guest payments with 100% accuracy
  • Correctly audit and balance cash/credit card receipts as part of daily checkout procedures
  • Responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner
  • Adheres to proper food/alcohol handling, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all employees, manages and guests

Required Education, Experience and Documentation:

  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate, BASSET Certificate
  • At least 2 year of experience in a fast-pace, busy, high volume restaurant 
  • Ability to fluently speak, write and read in the English language
