As a Maintenance Tech III, you will play a critical role in ensuring our high-tech manufacturing equipment runs smoothly, efficiently, and reliably. Your advanced troubleshooting skills and expertise in CNC lasers, turret presses, and press brakes will keep production humming and contribute to our reputation for quality and excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the troubleshooting and repair of CNC laser cutting systems, CNC turret press machines, and press brake equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, basic PLC logic, and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment.
• Serve as a senior technical resource on the production floor, mentoring colleagues and sharing expertise.
• Continuously improve machinery performance through root cause analysis and process enhancements.

Required Skills:

• 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC fabrication equipment, specifically lasers, turret presses, and press brakes.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, basic PLC logic, and technical manuals.
• Proven problem-solving skills and independence in resolving complex issues.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced PLC programming or automation systems.
• Certifications related to industrial maintenance or electrical systems.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis and predictive maintenance tools.
• Experience supporting equipment installation and commissioning.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate or Technical degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience supporting metal fabrication or CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

• Onsite availability, Monday through Friday schedule.
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts, with exposure to vibration and moderate to loud noise levels.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, and perform manual tasks as needed.
• Strong visual acuity, including close, distance, peripheral, and color vision.
