Associate Attorney
Associate Attorney – Estate Planning & Real Estate
Established, growing law firm in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our practice focused on estate planning, probate, and residential real estate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful client interaction, predictable hours, and a long-term role in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Meet directly with clients and guide them through estate planning and real estate matters
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Handle residential real estate transactions from contract through closing
- Attend closings throughout the Chicagoland area
- Communicate regularly with clients, realtors, lenders, and title companies
- Manage files from start to finish with support from an experienced team
What We’re Looking For
- Illinois licensed attorney
- 3–5 years of experience (estate planning and/or real estate preferred)
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
- Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to travel locally for closings
- Someone seeking a long-term position within a close-knit firm

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus structure
- 15 days PTO + paid holidays

Note: This position does not include employer-sponsored health insurance.
Location
This is an in-office position in Vernon Hills, Illinois, with local travel required for closings.
