Position Purpose:
The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem
with the Branch Manager. Duties include staff training and safety, building rapport with customers and the
community, and creating & implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in
efforts to achieve the financial targets.
Essential Functions:
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as
needed
• Maintain a qualified staff within defined headcount parameters
• Manage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, and hiring
decisions
• Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation to improve branch performance
• Support and enforce a culture of safety that adheres to all safety policies
• Ensure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately, and
timely, including but not limited to receiving, restocking, picking, shipping, returns, inventory management
• Ensure standards of performance as a basis of review
• Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and
productivity
• Ensure customers receive efficient, expedient service by all personnel and provide support on escalated
customer requests as needed
• Ensure all front counter operations are performed per policies and procedures
• Manage retail display area to meet company goals and objectives
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulatory and applicable laws
• Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (e.g., fork truck,
wave picker, pallet jack, etc.)
• Special projects as assigned by management

Experience Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform in stressful and demanding environment
- Ability to motivate, lead, and develop staff
- Minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience desired
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, employees, and customers
• Frequently required to stand and walk short and long distances
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Travel may be required
• Regularly repeat the same movements when entering data
• Remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
