Job Description

As a Blending Processor, you will engage in powder blending within the food industry, playing a vital role in contributing to the company's sales and profit through production activities. You will perform all production-related tasks while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements as outlined in the company's quality management system. Additionally, you will be responsible for following all established methods and procedures of the Logistics Department, as well as blending and maintaining clean room sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct powder blending in the food industry.
• Contribute to company sales and profit through efficient production activities.
• Perform all production-related tasks.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
• Follow established methods and procedures of the Logistics Department.
• Maintain clean room sanitation.

Essential Skills

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in blending within the Food/Powder industry.
• Familiarity with SQF Regulations.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP.
• Basic math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HACCP, compounding, blending, batching, batch record keeping, and mixing.
• Must pass a basic math test, including knowledge of the metric system and decimals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ELGIN, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
