Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales partners with executive leadership to drive the company’s strategic sales vision by leading high-performing sales and customer service teams, using data-driven insights to optimize revenue and profitability, fostering long-term customer relationships through tailored solutions, and representing the company at the highest level in industry and client-facing settings. The pay range for this role is fixed at $200,000 to $230,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates with strong, relevant experience may be offered salaries toward the higher end of the range, while those earlier in their careers can expect offers aligned with the entry level of the range. Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and support company-wide objectives.
- Set clear sales targets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Oversee, mentor, and manage the sales and customer service teams to foster growth and maintain high performance standards.
- Provide consistent coaching and performance management, including recognition of top performers and addressing underperformance.
- Ensure effective use of CRM tools to track performance, manage pipelines, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with offerings and customer needs.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and provide regular market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships to support collaboration and shared success across departments.
- Incorporate AI capabilities into sales processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Design and implement training and development programs to continually enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience at the executive level in sales leadership is required.
- At least 10 years of sales experience required.
- Supervisory responsibilities include leading and managing a team of 10+ sales/customer service professionals.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to make repetitive movements, including moving of the wrists/and or fingers, bending, or squatting.
- This position is on-site, and the candidate will work indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Periodic travel required to support business needs.
This role requires regular on-site presence. We are not offering relocation assistance at this time . Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth.
