Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Front Line Manager (FLM), you will focus on proactive and reactive maintenance for equipment including turn rolls, manipulators, positioners, and weld equipment in a low-volume, highly engineered manufacturing environment. This role will strengthen the existing maintenance teams responsible for facilities and general maintenance. The Maintenance FLM will provide directions and set priorities to ensure the effective execution of maintenance operations.

Your Day to Day as a Maintenance Front Line Manager (FLM):
- Responsible for supervising +/- 10 millwrights and electricians
- Ensure all safety (LOTO), security and company policies are enforced
- Maintain qualified staff; implementing formal and on-the-job craft training programs.
- Maintain maintenance work order records and departmental administration.
- Ensure timely availability of required resources to minimize business disruptions.
- Schedule overtime according to work needs.
- Perform monthly risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and taking action.
- Recommend maintenance tools, equipment, parts and supplies for purchase.
- Evaluate and identify vendor resources for maintenance or repair of equipment.
- Assist the Maintenance Planner through participation in Root Cause Failure Analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school equivalency with a minimum of five years of maintenance or manufacturing work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; contribute to technical teams; and establish effective working relationships with others is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience managing a maintenance team in a machining, welding, or other heavy manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP & Autotime is preferred.
- Ability to climb caged ladders up to 100 feet above ground.
- Ability to qualify for working in confined spaces.
- U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing a maintenance team in a machining, welding, or other heavy manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with SAP & Autotime.
- Strong mechanical background.

Pay: $65,000 - $103,000
The base salary range for this position in Indiana (US-IN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,000 and $103,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
