Building Automation & HVAC Specialist

Location:

Chicago, IL – Primarily based at client sites throughout the Chicagoland area.

Key Responsibilities

• Work exclusively with BAS and HVAC systems in the field.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and update HVAC systems and associated controls.
• Download, update, and verify software for accuracy.
• Calibrate and test HVAC systems and controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform system maintenance on field controllers, servers, workstations, and hardware.
• Apply knowledge of computer systems, networking, controls, and mechanical/electrical disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience in HVAC controls, BAS, or PLC's.
• Ability to work independently at various client locations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Onboarding Criteria And Additional Information

• 4 weeks of PTO & 12 paid holidays offered.
• Overtime opportunities are available for employees who wish to take on additional hours.
• A company vehicle will be provided within your first 12 months of employment, likely sooner, based on availability. However, until one is ready, you will be required to use your own vehicle. You will receive additional compensation for the use of your personal car.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $46.00/hr.
