The Knox County Health Department and Knox Community Health Center (KCHC) are seeking a Full-Time Director of Community Health Center Program Deliverables to lead the coordination, execution, and performance of key programs that drive patient care, compliance, and community impact.

This is not a traditional compliance-only role. This position sits at the intersection of operations, data, and leadership, ensuring that programs are not only compliant but effective, measurable, and aligned with our mission to serve Knox County.

What You’ll Do

As Director of Community Health Center Program Deliverables, you will serve as a key operational leader responsible for ensuring that programs, reporting, and performance initiatives are executed effectively across the organization.

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the coordination and implementation of health center programs aligned with HRSA requirements and organizational priorities
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Support leadership in advancing Governance Board initiatives and strategic planning efforts

Performance, Data & Reporting

  • Oversee program reporting and deliverable, including UDS, BPR, SAC, FTCA, and other federal and state requirements
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data tools to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making
  • Partner with leadership to present meaningful insights to the executive team and Governance Board

Quality & Operational Improvement

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies (e.g., PDSA cycles)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure alignment between program activities, quality goals, and organizational strategy

Risk Awareness & Compliance Integration

  • Support a proactive, organization-wide approach to risk awareness and mitigation
  • Coordinate training, monitoring, and reporting related to compliance and risk management programs
  • Ensure that program operations align with HRSA guidance and regulatory expectations

Collaboration & Organizational Support

  • Work closely with COO, CMO, CEO, and HR Director to support cross-functional initiatives
  • Assist with policy development, grant writing, and operational readiness efforts
  • Serve as a resource for program implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement across departments

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
  • Experience in healthcare operations, public health programs, FQHCs, or quality/performance management
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into action
  • Experience with grant reporting, regulatory requirements, or program compliance preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present information to leadership and governing bodies
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $69,327 annually
