General Job Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on Sprinkler Systems (including wet, dry, and pre- action systems) and Fire Pump testing.
- Maintain a NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm systems.
- Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule and complete all assigned inspections on time.
- Using our cloud-based software and mobile app, input, retrieve and archive inspection reports and documents.
- Identify and report deficiencies found during system inspections.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with company staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- The ability to learn technical manuals.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge low voltage systems, fire alarm systems and installation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read installation and system manuals.
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical and fire codes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
- Experience in Fire Alarm and low voltage installation required.
- NICET certification or other vocational training/certification preferred.
- Related fire protection experience preferred.
