Salary: $90,000 - $95,000

Job Summary

The Pitmaster / District Chef oversees culinary operations for multiple corporate dining accounts, combining hands-on pitmaster expertise with regional culinary leadership. This role mentors chefs, drives menu innovation, ensures food safety and sanitation, and elevates food quality and consistency across the district.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee culinary operations for multiple accounts
• Train, mentor, and develop chefs, raising overall skill levels
• Serve as the regional pitmaster expert for smoking and live-fire cooking
• Drive menu development, innovation, and new culinary program rollouts
• Guide chefs on cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management
• Ensure high standards for food quality, safety, and sanitation
• Partner with culinary and marketing teams to enhance the guest experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred
• 5+ years of culinary management experience
• 2+ years of multi-site culinary leadership
• Proven pitmaster or barbecue experience
• High-volume production and catering experience
• Strong leadership skills and passion for growth
