The Role:

We are seeking a Data Center Engineer with strong automation and infrastructure management experience to join the core technology operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in supporting and automating datacenter environments in high-performance trading or capital markets settings.

You will be responsible for the design deployment and maintenance of our data center infrastructure with a focus on improving scalability reliability and automation across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple data centers supporting ultra-low latency trading systems.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible Terraform or Python scripting.
• Maintain and optimize systems for high availability low latency and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with network systems and trading technology teams to ensure seamless platform operations.
• Perform capacity planning monitoring and performance tuning across production and disaster recovery environments.
• Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Zabbix Prometheus or Grafana.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
• Support change management and documentation best practices.

Required Skills Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience as a Data Center Systems or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong automation skills with Python Ansible Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments.
• Understanding of low-latency networking colocation facilities and capital markets infrastructure.
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware KVM Docker Kubernetes).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in electronic trading infrastructure or market connectivity environments.
• Understanding of FIX multicast and financial exchange protocols.
• Experience managing infrastructure in colocation facilities such as Equinix or NY4/CH4.
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
