A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Scientist I, Analytical Chemistry Development in Vernon Hills, IL 60061. The Scientist I would be working for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.
Scientist I Compensation
- The pay for this position is $35.79 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Scientist I Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Monday-Friday schedule; standard business hours
- Onsite position located in Vernon Hills, IL

Scientist I Responsibilities
- Perform analytical chemistry testing and development activities in support of pharmaceutical products
- Utilize wet chemistry and instrumental analytical techniques including pH, titration, UV-Vis, GC, and HPLC
- Generate, review, and maintain scientific documentation in compliance with GMP requirements
- Author technical reports and other scientific documentation
- Troubleshoot analytical issues and implement effective solutions
- Interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions
- Support laboratory investigations and method development activities
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and laboratory procedures
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Scientist I Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or a related scientific field
- 2-4 years of pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
- Experience with wet chemistry and instrumental analytical techniques (pH, titration, UV-Vis, GC, HPLC)
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment
- Knowledge of GMP documentation requirements
- Excellent scientific writing and technical documentation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of scientific methods and laboratory techniques
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Scientist I Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or related science discipline
- Experience supporting analytical method development and validation activities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
