Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain)

• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and goal development
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment for school-aged children
• Capable of managing a diverse caseload with excellent organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments in accordance with student needs and IEP objectives
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on educational access and participation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students individually and in groups
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and required professional development
• Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
