- Job Type: Locum tenens, travel healthcare contract
- Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana 70601 (Louisiana healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Cath Lab (Unit 7120 Cardiology)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100–$2150
- On-Call: Every other weekend and 2-3 weekdays
- Imaging Equipment: GE Innova, GE Optima, Toshiba Infinix cath lab x-ray units
- First-time travel healthcare professionals welcome!
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab or scrub experience in Radiology Intervention or Surgery preferred)
- Active ARRT(R) certification required
- Valid Louisiana state license (LSTBE) required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Cath Lab, including CT scans and radiographic studies
- Operate advanced imaging equipment: GE Innova, GE Optima, Toshiba Infinix
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures and provide scrub support
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient safety during procedures
- Participate in scheduled on-call coverage
- Float to other hospital units as needed, following orientation and hospital policies
