SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00- $90,000.00

Sunrise FS is headquartered in Virginia, Illinois, with branches in Cass, Champaign, Clark, Douglas, Edgar, Mason and Vermillion counties. Sunrise FS has about 200 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 14,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, energy, grain, tires, irrigation, and retail. Sunrise FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

R esponsible for implementing the energy product marketing plan s , generating prospective quality leads, conducting sales calls, and contracting profitable energy product sales . S upport s and contribute s to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

I mplement s energy product marketing plans, offers value added merchandise , and promotes service as part of the sale for the assigned territory.

Ensures profitable sales growth through target marketing, competitive analysis, risk management, and building solid business relationships.

Utilizes an effective s ales a dministration plan that includes setting expectations, training, regular in-field networking and prospecting , follow-ups, and measuring results.

Reviews a nnual energy product sales goals and key objectives to stay a lign ed with company ’s goals and objectives .

Responsible for ensuring company credit policies and procedures are followed .

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains company vehicle and equipment in proper operating condition.

Collaborates with other sales team members in effort to maximize results.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related area or the equivalent thereof, and 4 years or more of energy related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of and the proven ability to demonstrate advanced marketing skills, generate profitable sales, build a repeat customer base, and gain market share .

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications and/or licenses necessary to support business needs.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Will be required to travel independently and work self-directed .

Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK energy division products , merchandise, and services.

Occasionally e xposed or required to:

• Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)

• Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
