As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Aurora, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this role, you will help to deter incidents through a visible presence while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with entry procedures and directing individuals as needed.
• Support daily operations by communicating with staff, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, providing information, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
