- Lead the accounting close from start to finish, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Oversee AR and AP teams, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while jumping in to help when needed
- Review and improve processes, document policies, and prepare the team for an ERP implementation in the next 12–18 months
- Maintain GAAP compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Provide insight into financial drivers, understanding upstream and downstream impacts of decisions
- Mentor and develop team members; potential to add an Accounting Manager role underneath you
- Assistant Controller or early Controller experience in a mid-sized ($200–500M) company
- 9–10 years total experience
- Strong GAAP fundamentals, CPA and public accounting strongly preferred
- International exposure strongly preferred
