Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our metal plating and finishing department . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal plating processes (e.g., electroplating, anodizing, passivation, etc.) and a strong understanding of manufacturing best practices , quality standards , and team leadership . This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plating and finishing production teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with AS9100 , ISO , and environmental/safety regulations .

• Oversee process control, chemical maintenance, and equipment functionality within the plating line.

• Train, coach, and develop employees on proper operating procedures, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Monitor workflow, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve processes, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance metrics (KPI tracking).

• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in metal plating, electroplating, or finishing operations (required).

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Working knowledge of surface finishing processes, chemical handling, and plating equipment.

• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems (preferred).

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and process specifications.

• Proficient with basic computer systems (ERP, MS Office).
