Description and Requirements

Position: Database Administration Module Lead
Location: 2251 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102 (Various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.)
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Gateway ICOMS Biller Isolation and Trunk Automation Application (TAP) proprietary products to extract, retrieve, manipulate, and migrate customer (both individual and businesses) data on the Spectrum platform and Charter Communication’s servers and systems; implement, configure, maintain, and optimize critical SQL Server RDBMS systems through the use of Gateway ICOMS Biller Isolation and Trunk Automation Application (TAP) proprietary products, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of Spectrum’s platform during data migration, as well as the potential recovery of data during outages and disasters; manage SQL server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, including mission-critical data migration projects (especially during planned database migration from SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2012 to SQL 2014/2016) through the provision of Gateway ICOMS Biller Isolation and Trunk Automation Application (TAP) proprietary products to project run plans; and perform tests and evaluations of Gateway ICOMS Biller Isolation and Trunk Automation Application (TAP) proprietary products to ensure data security, privacy, and application integrity, as well as compliance to project standards, and provide troubleshooting of real-time issues during integration process with the application of new patches and versions of each proprietary product when required.
• Position will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with periodic relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or foreign equivalent plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Database Administrator or in a related position working with large scale-databases in a production environment.
• Experience must include: installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server 2014/2016; Extreme programming (XP) and NT; Database Tools: Profiler, Perfmon, SSMS, and Red gate; Backup Tools: VERITAS net backup; Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds DPA, Scom and Quest Fog light.
• Required Certificates: Certification: Microsoft Certified Professional and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
