Bartender
Blue Line Lounge & Grill is a neighborhood Martini bar located in the Wicker Park neighborhood. We are currently looking to hire an EXPERIENCED bartender to be the face of the Blue Line.
While our main business is Martinis, we do serve a a mix of on-tap & bottled beers, canned spirits, wine & whiskey as well as a full food menu. We are looking for someone who is bright and energetic, committed to the job and looking for a place to call home.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Available part-time or full-time, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday shifts
- Bartending Skills
- Able to Work in the Well
- Strong Communication Skills
- Must be able to use a Jigger
- Must be upbeat, energetic, friendly & hardworking
- Experience as a Cocktail Bartender
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent Hospitality and Customer Service Skills
- Bar Knowledge
- Must be able to Interact with your Guests
- Cocktail Making
- Creativity in Cocktail Preparation
- Ability to Work Under Pressure
- Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously
- Attention to Detail and Consistency in Drink Preparation
- Understanding of Hospitality Principles
Compensation is minimum wage, plus tips
Candidates must be 21 or over and hold a valid State of Illinois BASSETT seller-server certification
