SEO Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our remote marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing search engine optimization strategies that increase organic visibility, improve search rankings, and drive qualified traffic to our digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, hands-on SEO experience, and a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword strategy, and technical SEO best practices. This fully remote position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and search rankings

Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and market trend evaluations

Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog articles for SEO performance

Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements (site speed, indexing, schema, crawlability)

Manage on-page and off-page SEO initiatives, including link-building strategies

Monitor and report on SEO KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs

Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to align SEO best practices

Stay current with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging digital marketing techniques

Required Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. work permit holder required)

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results

Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.)

Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with local SEO and eCommerce SEO

Familiarity with PPC and integrated digital marketing strategies

Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment

Knowledge of content marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
