Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week travel assignment
• 12-hour night shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours/week (option for 48 hours upon request)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• No on-call, call-back requirements
• Start Date: 6/15

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with active IL license
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current)
• At least 2 years of ICU experience; 3 years preferred
• Minimum 1 completed travel assignment
• Strong neuro assessment abilities, dysphagia screening, and NIHSS skills
• Proficient EKG/tele interpretation, ventilator management, and sepsis protocols
• Ability to manage cardiac, vasoactive, insulin drips, perform therapeutic hypothermia post-ROSC
• Flexible, resilient, and social team player
• Preferred: Experience with tPa administration, Belmont (massive transfusion)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for mixed ICU and step-down patients (2:1 and 3:1 ratios)
• Float to step-down care as needed
• Communicate effectively within a collaborative care team
