Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Rotating on-call responsibilities, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Comprehensive experience in the Operating Room setting, with strong knowledge of perioperative best practices
• Proficient in AORN standards and surgical patient safety protocols
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism
• Proven skills in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical tech teams
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub as required during surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Prepare the OR by verifying equipment, instrumentation, and supplies for a wide variety of surgical cases
• Monitor patients’ status intraoperatively and relay pertinent information to surgical and anesthesia teams
• Document critical perioperative information accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, managing changes in patient condition with clinical expertise
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and care teams
