As a **Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol Driver** in **Decatur, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on duty.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues specific to financial institution locations.
+ Assist visitors and employees with directions and information related to security-related matters when appropriate.
+ Document incidents and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
+ Report security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
+ Work closely with site management and local law enforcement as required to address incidents and/or emergencies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
