Bartender
Gaijin is currently looking for a bartender to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, all while maintaining a focused but fun attitude.
If you are creative, detail-oriented, have a passion for hospitality and are a team player, we'd love to hear from you! - Flexible schedule with full-time preferred. Weekend availability is a must, and some morning shifts may be required.- Two years of related experience preferred
- Experience with sake, Japanese whisky, and other Japanese spirits a plus
- Expected to gain thorough knowledge of both the beverage and food menus to provide our guests with exceptional service

Located in Chicago's West Loop, Gaijin by Chef Paul Virant is Chicago’s first and only dedicated okonomiyaki and kakigori restaurant. Okonomiyaki is a savory Japanese pancake, and kakigori is a Japanese shaved-ice dessert. The bar program showcases highballs and craft cocktails, along with a focused selection of beer, sake, Japanese whisky, and wine.
